Wanda brought several years of medical marketing experience, gained through hospital employment, to the Extendicare family 14 years ago. She was impressed from the very beginning of the interview process with the staff’s professionalism and dedication to the residents. She knew that she wanted to be a part of the growth and has never been disappointed in her decision to join Extendicare.
The best part of the job for Wanda is meeting the community and having the ability to share the Extendicare story and to answer questions and concerns when families are making very difficult decisions.
Wanda is married to Ronald Smith. They have 2 children, a son Jason Smith, who is married and has 3 children. They also have a daughter, Amy Bunting. She enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with her constant source of joy, her grandchildren.
