Hometown: Banks, Alabama
Rebecca’s long term care career began when she rose from Administrative Secretary of Oakview Manor Healthcare Center in Ozark to Administrator in 1991. From there she served as the Administrator of Andalusia Manor Nursing Home in Andalusia before joining the Extendicare staff in 2004.
One of the reasons Rebecca was drawn to join Extendicare is the reputation that Extendicare enjoys in the Wiregrass area. Her daily responsibilities as Administrator are many and varied. She especially appreciates the support given to her by Extendicare’s staff. Her love for the elderly is evident as she does her rounds throughout the facility each day, stopping and chatting and sharing a smile with the residents.
Rebecca lives in Dothan and is the proud mother of son, Russell, and daughter, Ginger. She has four grandchildren who occupy much of her spare time. Her goals are to make a difference in the lives of the residents and patients who entrust their care to Extendicare. She wants to enjoy her family and friends as often as possible and is grateful for each new day.
