Hometown: Troy, Alabama
Hope, a relative newcomer to Extendicare, received her B.S. from Troy University and Post Baccalaureate Certification in Dietetics from the University of Montevallo. She also completed a Diatetic Internship with the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Impeccable reputation in regards to resident and employee satisfaction were the deciding factors for Hope’s choice to work at Extendicare. She continues to find the staff friendly and supportive of each other.
Hope enjoys all aspects of her job but interacting with the residents is her favorite part. She loves being greeted by a resident and having them immediately begin talking as a friend.
Hope is married to Bo Boyd and has 3 children, Dow 4 years, Lillian 20 months, and Till 13 weeks. She spends most of her time chasing babies but loves to spend free time with family and friends. When she finds time, she enjoys movies, shopping, and reading.
