Dr. Roddy Cook has served with distinction as Medical Director of Extendicare’s Long-Term care division for over 25 years. He received his medical degree in 1969 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Cook completed his residency at Caraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
Returning to the Wiregrass, he established and continues to practice family medicine in two locations in Dothan and also in Ashford, AL.
Dr. Cook is a member of the American Medical Association. He is a member of the medical staff at Southeast Alabama Medical Center and has served the hospital in various appointed positions.
Dr. Cook and his wife, Pat, have been married for 43 years and have a son, daughter and five grandchildren.
