Kim received her master’s degree in nursing and her nurse practitioner’s certification from Troy University in 2003. She is employed with Dr. Edwin Morriss’ practice and has been serving as Extendicare’s nurse practitioner since October of 2010.

Kim had long known of Extendicare’s reputation as an excellent healthcare facility and this was the reason she wanted to join the staff. She says she really enjoys watching the rehab patients who come in to Extendicare totally dependent, progress with therapy and then return home. The friendliness of the staff is another reason she enjoys her job at Extendicare.

Kim has three daughters, Garris, a Physical Therapy major at Troy University, Emma Rose, a junior at Wicksburg High School and Shellie, a 7th grader at Wicksburg High School. Kim is an avid Auburn University football fan and loves the going to the lake to fish. Her goal is to pursue a doctorate degree in nursing.
